About Caistor

About Caistor

Caistor Methodist Church is an inter-generational group of people that seek to serve the rural town of Caistor and the surrounding community. We are a church with a big heart that aims to show the love of God through all that we do, our care for people and the world around us, and the hospitality we extend to those we come into contact with. Currently, we are prayerfully considering how we can develop existing and new relationships as a way of communicating and sharing our faith with others. We welcome all to travel with us on our journey exploring and sharing the Christian faith.

We are blessed to be associated with Caistor Primary School, (Caistor C of E and Methodist Primary School), providing opportunities to engage with young people and support them as they develop their personal beliefs. Pupils at the school reside in the growing town of Caistor and a number of surrounding smaller villages and hamlets. The school core Christian values are respect, love and courage. The Church is represented on the school governing body, that also has oversight for the nearby Grasby (All Saints) C of E Primary School.

Worship

Our regular services are held on Sundays, starting at 10:15am, followed by refreshments and fellowship in the Wesley Room afterwards.  The style of worship is varied, embracing traditional music played on the pipe organ and contemporary songs using a variety of media.  Services are led by ministers, local preachers and members of our church family too.  This creates a rich tapestry of style and content, built on a strong biblical foundation.

Previously our talented team have delivered Prayer & Praise services – we hope that these will recommence soon, too.
