Brigg Youth Club runs every Friday from 6:30-8pm at Brigg Methodist Church. Here young people aged 10-14 years old can come and socialise with friends, play games such as table tennis, air hockey and board games, make crafts and choose the direction of how the youth club runs and what activities they would like to do. We usually get between 12-20 young people attending each week.
The TBD group, whose name might change in the near future, is aimed at young people who want to try and achieve an award or grow in a certain skill set. We meet every Thursday from 6:30-8pm at Brigg Methodist Church. This group also has time to socialise and play games, however we also work towards achieving awards such as ASDAN awards and with the older ones promoting volunteering which some do at the younger youth club on the Friday night. This is a much smaller group, usually between 3-5 young people.
We also run on a Friday afternoon, the 3 o’clock club (originally called Adult Youth Club), this is held at Brigg Methodist Church from 3-5pm. Here adults can do and use the resources the young people use. Some favourites for this group are the table tennis set and table football. Every last Friday of the month we have a film afternoon, we also have the usual stuff out too, such as board games, crafts and table tennis. Here we usually get between 15-20 adults attending.
